L.E.V.E.

The layperson sees mold in a dish, colored specks under a microscope. 

To my colleagues I am a laughingstock. They think because their experiments failed, the thing can't be done. In their minds, the limit is fixed; escape a fiction, madness.

The truth is, they lack the ingredient that ensures my success: necessity. After so many years of pain and toil, I can finally sense the space beyond. 

The question is no longer if, but how. What remains is, simply, the science.
